Beginning July 1, GoTriangle will resume charging fares for its buses. NC State faculty, staff, and students can request a free GoPass to ride the GoTriangle buses.
GoPass for July
To request a GoPass for the month of July, follow the steps below.
- Download the Umo Mobility app, which is available on Android and iOS.
- If you do not have a smartphone, call 919-485-RIDE (7433) to request a physical card.
- Create an account using your NC State email address.
- Check your email and click the email verification link.
- Select “Redeem Benefit Code” in the app’s main menu.
- Enter the code: GOT-Q7H3-W7BK.
GoRaleigh
GoRaleigh will remain fare-free until August 1. We will share information about requesting a GoPass to use the GoRaleigh buses when it becomes available.
Annual Renewal
The GoPass is valid from July 1 to June 30 and must be renewed annually. Users must request a new code to receive another free GoPass.
