Browse the directory of student organization. There are many that are sustainability-related. The NC State Stewards, a sustainability leadership program coordinated by the University Sustainability Office, also accepts a few new students each fall. Keep your eyes open for application dates.

STUDY ABROAD

NC State offers many global opportunities to learn about cultures and sustainability.

RESEARCH

Join a faculty member in exploring sustainable solutions. The Office of Undergraduate Research can help match you with a project.

SUSTAINABILITY FUND

NC State offers competitive grants that fund campus sustainability projects. If you have an idea for how to make campus more sustainable, look for the mini-grant application cycle in early fall semester and the full grant application cycle in early spring semester.

ALTERNATIVE SERVICE BREAK

Learn about sustainability through a service trip. Many ASB trips available are sustainability-related. Applications typically open in early fall semester.
