NC State University is in the business of transformation, creating sustainable solutions for tomorrow’s problems since its founding in 1887. The proposed Sustainability Policy represents NC State’s enduring commitment to advancing sustainability through the life of the university.
A draft of the policy is available and campus feedback is welcomed.
The proposed policy will guide the management and growth of our academic enterprise and campus life while using energy and other resources more efficiently. The ultimate result is a leaner, stronger and smarter university that is also a good steward of limited economic and natural resources.
