Applications Open for Summer Science Communication Internship
The SE CASC summer science communication internship program welcomes undergraduate students from minority serving institutions (MSIs) and provides interested students with career-based experiences and skills.
Selected students will receive a stipend, on-campus housing, and initial travel to and departure from Raleigh (up to $600) will be reimbursed. Students are responsible for their meals and transportation. All buses are fare-free on campus and in the city of Raleigh.
Students will end the summer with portfolio-worthy science communication products, CV-building skills, and an expanded professional network within the federal service.
If you are passionate about climate change, love nature, and are interested in dipping your toes into several aspects of science communication, then this internship is for you!
Applications are now being accepted and will close at 5PM ET on January 31st.
Please contact the internship coordinator, SE CASC Communications & Engagement Manager, Michelle Jewell (majewell@ncsu.edu) with any questions.
