NC State Earth Day 2012 will offer our community multiple opportunities to get involved, build your professional network, be entertained and educated – all at the same time!
Holy Ghost Tent Revival will headline the Earth Day Concert on Harris Field, Friday, April 20 and a multiple band event will be held Saturday, April 21 on Hillsborough Street.
Music not your thing? Hit up the Earth Day Celebration on the brickyard or donate used clothes to the ONEShirt Campaign, organized by WESA and Student Government. Try cleaning out your medicine cabinet and pitching all those expired drugs at the Student Health Prescription Drop-Off Saturday, April 28. Feast in the dining halls on local and organic foods the week of April 16-20.
The mission of NC State Earth Day is to strive to promote, inform and empower our campus community towards a more sustainable future. The Earth Day Committee is living up to that fundamental value with educational opportunities ranging from kayak lessons on Lake Raleigh to inspiring films.
