Climate Action Plan Process Launched!
Seven working groups of the Campus Environmental Sustainability Team
(CEST) have been established to collect input from the campus and
community to establish in order to develop two tools: a campus wide sustainability strategic plan and a
climate action plan (CAP).
Starting Tuesday, January 19, each group has a meeting scheduled for the week. These meetings will launch discussion about how the university will achieve climate neutrality. The CEST groups, with the help of our CAP consultant, will generate ideas and mechanism for reducing our campus’ footprint. These meetings are the best way for you to get involved in creating the plan North Carolina State University will use to achieve climate neutrality.
Your input will guide this important process and result in reducing the university’s carbon footprint! A short donation of your time and expertise will lead to long-term enhancement of this great university.
