Films to Empower Campus

Empower Fist LogoNorth Carolina State University, as part of the Empower Film Series, will host a sneak peek of DisneyNature’s Chimpanzee and the first ever screening of Semper Fi: Always Faithful in the Triangle.

Semper Fi: Always Faithful tells the story of former Marine Corps Master Sergeant Jerry Ensminger and his mission to make public one of the largest water contamination incidents in U.S. history. Mr. Ensminger was searching for answers after his nine-year old daughter died of a rare type of leukemia and he found them at Camp Lejeune. The film screens at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11.

DisneyNature’s Chimpanzee will be shown as a sneak peek at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, two days before it hits theaters nationwide. The True Life Adventure, narrated by Tim Allen (Last Man Standing and Home Improvement) is the forth film from the popular series that delivered Oceans and Earth.

Both films are free, open to the public and will be shown in the Witherspoon Student Center Campus Cinema.
