Bio: Hi! I’m Anna-Grace and I am a junior majoring in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management (PRTM) with a minor in environmental science. My sustainability passions lie in waste reduction, animal agriculture, and tourism (as a PRTM major). My interest in sustainability really came from my love for the outdoors; I love parks, hiking, and really anything that deals with being outside! I hate seeing how our day to day lives can negatively affect our environment, I want to encourage others to adapt sustainable lifestyles, and recognize that any change, big or small, can make an impact. In my free time, I enjoy photography, travel, and hanging out with my friends! Outside of Stewards, I am also involved in the National Parks Club and Social Innovation Fellows.
What does sustainability mean to you?
Sustainability is people making choices (big and small) that promote living in harmony with the earth, while ensuring that everyone’s needs are met without harming the planet by overusing resources or polluting it.
