Joined Stewards: Spring 2021
Hometown: Raleigh, NC
My purpose is to help society build toward a just and equitable food system. I am also interested in permaculture design, renewable energy and waste reduction. I like to ground myself by cooking and playing musical instruments like guitar or xylophone. Outside of being a Steward, I am the president of the Agroecology Club, WKNC DJ, and a mother of many pets.
What does sustainability mean to you? Intentional shifts bounded by love that are made by a community, entities, or individuals from all levels who are conscious of their power to transform and shape the world for the future. As many of the stewards of the land at NC State maintained, I believe that we are interconnected in the issues that rely on sustainable measures.
