Environmental Justice Symposium

Don’t miss this day of exploring topics of environmental justice with guest speakers, a screening of the short documentary Straws (provided by Towards Zero Waste), interactive breakout activities and a light lunch. The symposium is aimed at informing participants about current environmental justice cases on a global, national and local level, as well as preparing them to act as an advocate for affected communities. There will be open discussions that encourage critical thinking toward the causes of cases, and how to prevent them.
