What can you make from popsicle sticks?
We’re constantly amazed at the cool stuff you can easily make from items most people throw away. Take popsicle sticks, for example; we weren’t sure what to do with these until someone in our office made this cool craft. Here, she shares the secret to creating a fun, NC State-themed craft from popsicle sticks, ribbon, a little glue and paint.
What you will need:
12 popsicle sticks
Ribbon (about 10 inches)
Hot glue gun OR craft glue
Paint
Stencil/design of your liking
Step 1:
Lay out 9 popsicle sticks side by side.
Step 2:
Using a hot glue gun or regular craft glue, attach three popsicle sticks to the stack of 9 popsicle sticks.
Step 3:
Using a stencil, trace the image onto the front side
Step 4:
Paint the outside of the image.
Step 5:
Paint the inside of the image.
Step 6:
Decorate (we think Wolfpack décor is best).
Step 7:
Using a hot glue gun, glue the ribbon onto the back of the craft.
And you’re done. Who would have thought such a cool decoration could be made from something most of us typically throw away? Happy crafting!
