April Is Earth Month At NC State

April brings warmer temperatures, signs of spring and NC State’s Earth Month, the university’s annual focus on the planet and sustainability.

This year’s Earth Month features more than 50 sustainability-related events, including volunteer opportunities, festivals, concerts, presentations and outdoor activities. Many events are free and on campus but may require advance registration. Learn more at http://go.ncsu.edu/earthmonth.

Earth Month’s signature event, Earth Fair, is set for Wednesday, April 5, from 10 am until 2 pm on the Brickyard. A long-standing campus tradition, the event features interactive displays, demos and information from nearly 75 sustainability-related organizations.

Hosted by NC State’s Sustainability Council and University Sustainability Office and sponsored by NC State Campus Enterprises, Earth Month aims to raise awareness about sustainability and opportunities to contribute toward a more sustainable future.
