Campus Sustainability Day 2011

CSD 2011 table photThe University Sustainability Office and it’s partners invite all NC State students, faculty and staff to celebrate Campus Sustainability Day 2011 on Friday, October 28.

Harris Field, located at the corner of Dan Allen Drive and Cates Avenue, will be the site of a Fall Fun Carnival from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.Β  The carnival will have a Halloween theme and feature over $700 in prizes, free food, eco-games, a bike tour of campus, and much more.

Come out dressed in your best Halloween costume and enter the recycled costume contest.Β  Add your last minute flourishes at the face painting or mask making tables!Β  Two chances to win with either the Best Overall or Most Recycled costume!

Campus Sustainability Day is a partnership between the University Sustainability Office and the Union Activities Board.Β  With generous support from University Dining, we are able to offer the first 500 attendees free food (veggie option).Β  Campus Sustainability Day would not be possible without the passion and hard work of Transportation, Waste Reduction and Recycling, Wolfbytes and University Housing.
