The Sustainable Outreach Materials Team was created to develop tomorrow’s energy leaders and enhance collaboration among NC State’s energy organizations. Ten Energy Fellows were hired in 2011 to work in sustainability organizations on campus, and each fellow was assigned to one of three projects to further NC State’s mission to establish a green economy.

By creating a video to showcase sustainability organizations at NC State, the Sustainable Outreach Materials team endeavors to increase the campus, community and industry awareness of NC State as an energy leader. The group also aims to enhance NC State’s efforts and partnerships within the green economy through outreach, communication and collaboration.

The video showcases 5 energy organizations on the NC State campus that share similar aspects of their missions. This video provides an avenue to enhance partnerships and collaboration between each organization through joint projects and initiatives. In addition, the video showcases NC State as an environmental steward and key role player in preserving North Carolina’s natural resources.
