  9. Pasta Primavera. Feelings for pasta salad with fresh vegetables and parmesan cheese are best expressed by eating it.
  10. Mediterranean Salad With Greek Vinaigrette. Orzo. Olives. Feta cheese. Romaine Lettuce. This salad is like a European vacation in a jar, but without the Griswolds there to mess it up.

Ready to trick everyone into thinking you’re a seasoned chef? Before you get started, there are a couple of crucial points to remember before creating a mason jar masterpiece.

Make sure the jar fits your appetite. There are many sizes out there, so make sure you pick the right one. Quart sized jars work well, especially the wide version.

The order is important. Dressing always goes in first to avoid soggy salads. If you have chunky ingredients, like granola or some sort of protein, put those in next, followed by your toppings (cheese, croutons, raisins, etc). Leafy greens always go last, not only to protect them from getting wet, but also to create a beautiful salad bed when you dump it all out!
